just remember that you need to be within 10m to initially gather someone\thing with the Force when using move object. in other words, Daxx would have to hover directly overhead and not less than 30ft off the ground. It is certainly doable, though it will be harder than just hovering w\o worrying about altitude.Robyo wrote:Are we attempting a rescue, or just killing all the tuskbeasts first?
If Daxx positions the ship above the doc and his crew, Sharn will (on his turn) access the belly hatch and try to get to them. He can try to pull them up with the force, or lower himself down on a rope.
and why do you do this..... you have had no communication with Sharn?whit10 wrote:I'll try to hover really low then
ok, please reference the map for your ship's location. not counting altitude, the Mitochondria is some 12-15m from the sand ship, certainly within visible range, but not directly overhead, your pilot hasn't had a turn to move the ship yet, nor have the two of you communicated your plan with each other.Robyo wrote:Sharn doesn't actually own a rope. Is there one available on the ship?
On his turn, he opens the hatch and waves at the fellas down below. Irwin gets up close to the opening, camera rolling.
If there is no rope or ladder that's handy to use, try the liquid cable dispenser.

"Crikey!" chirps Irwin. "Lower down the ship, Daxx. Get in close and easy now. The boss is climbing down, attempting a rescue."
"Varrrghraat!" shouts Sharn, hanging below. The jostling ship swings him out on the rope like a pendulum.
"Oh dear, I can't bare to watch," responds the droid. He would grimace if he could.
yeah, see? that was awesome!whit10 wrote:It's Chris's world Rob, we have to be in character AT ALL TIMES!!! (sorry brother, I couldn't resist)
that is very true, most people don't role-play in MMOs. Do you play WoW?Robyo wrote:

nice roll, is Daxx keeping the ship at its current location or does he actually want to fly directly over anyone, which is what he would need to do in order for Sharn to attempt a rescue. from your current position, as indicated by the big spaceship with a tangling wookie, you are 12-15m from the nearest TB victimwhit10 wrote:

Daxx maneuvers the Mitochondria (with his natural 20) directly over Dr. Helian, fighting the wind and radiation buffets with ease. Sharn is now 1-2m directly over the good doctor.whit10 wrote:My mistake... fly directly over the doctor's position so as to give Sharn a chance to wisk them up or use a rope.

Dr. Helian begins to float up in the air towards the open ship hatch. Sharn can hear him muttering, "ah, yes a much better angle, thank you" as if unaware of what is happening to him. The tuskbeast at his feet takes his AoO and removes a chunk from Helian's shoulder which causes him to drop his holorecorder and cry out, "No!!! my footage" Like an astronaut in Zero-G for the first time, Dr. Helian flails and spins himself upside down, trying to swim towards his fallen treasure as he rises helplessly under Sharn's control.Robyo wrote:Move Object on the good doctor:
