Mandalorians hunt all manner of things for fun, training, trophies, etc. That they are hunting is not unusual in and of itself.

and just so I am clear with the map making - are you all remaining mounted on the dewbacks or leaving them and proceeding on foot?

Suggestion - Send the dewbacks with the main push north, capture team moves dismounted...

aren't these things kinda slow? I vote for leaving the walking boot racks here

Staying on the Dewbacks would help maintain the perception that we are proceeding as normal. Leaving the dewbacks enmasse is a pretty clear signal that we are aware of our prey. It may generate an advanatge to not seem to notice we are being observed.

"Ok then, the two sneakiest flank left after the lone mando. The rest proceed with dewbacks. I'm sure they've seen us, but we can still split up without tipping our hand. We just need to appear to be scouting rather than flanking."

My stealth is high, but if 2 others are comparable, i should keep the rotary in the main group.

Sharn currently has a Dex of 12, so he'll stay with the main group, seeming to proceed normally. Still mounted on big lizard and accompanying Thana.

Tson is keeping a 5 square distance from Dax as moves...He takes an instant to clear and center his mind, attempting to blend into the natural flow of terrain by connecting with The Force.

Stealth + force point :

Result of the throw of dice "1d20 +2d6" :

16 + 6 + 1 = 23

and just to be clear, the hexes that are different colors from the "floor" of the desert are indeed different elevations.  The lighter hexes, like the ones the Mandos are hiding behind are the lowest, think scattered rocks between 1/4m and 1m, the darker brown rise up from 1m to 3m much like the picture of the geyser rocks.  

The grey hexes, nearest the party look like a long extinct geyser formation, with some small rocks, some larger ones and some arroyos (dried creek beds) where the water used to flow.  

The current geyser has creek beds that flow to the left of the picture, which is down and into the canyon you saw earlier.

The green patches are hardy desert plants: cacti, scrub, etc that catch enough water from the geyser and condensation to survive.



Dewback stats on pg 336, spd 8m or 4 hexes.

Ok, the party splits up as noted above.  As far as anyone can tell, the 2 Mandos to the north of the geyser don't seem to notice T'son and Daxx split off and slip into the sands.  Their focus appears to remain on the Dewback train.

The Mando to the South, vanishes behind the rocks.  


Let's go ahead and roll initiative.  You can all get fresh Perception checks on your turn.
