Dan's yet uncreated and unnamed PC

I was thinking of playing a space pirate (Han Solo) but play him more like Starlord.. Instead of using force, make him biomechanically enhanced like Rocket Raccoon or Darth Vader.

No world he calls home and allegiance to none..

Make him a Human for ease of play.

Give him a typical roguish skill set- blasters, thievery, piloting/ mechanical skills..

So that's where I'm at. Feedback and assistance appreciated.

if you want to be the pilot for hte ship, that would REALLY help me out... I like the character idea, I still need to see that movie!

Cool. I haven't looked at anyone else's PC yet, but don't wanna step on anyone's toes by cutting into someone's role..

Let's call your suggestion a tentative plan.. I haven't looked at ANY game materials yet and don't wanna get stuck as being exclusively a pilot, but I could probably definitely build him piloting-heavy to free up your guy's points for other things..

And remember, he probably won't work for free, unless under heavy coercion, lol...

This should be a cool game. I have some other adventure material i have to finish writing first, but gonna start working to get him started this weekend.

you're not stepping on my toes at all if you want to take over the pilot role. You should be able to have the points that you need to be a good pilot and fight well, etc. I'm really cramped for points because of the magic (Force) stuff. It's pretty expensive

Sweet! I think Chris is gonna try to dropbox me a bunch of gaming books, so I'll have a prelim build by this weekend.

My character will be good with sensors and signal jamming, etc. Maybe astrogation too.

Before I start any character development, what role in the fame needs to be filled? I was gonna take some piloting duties for Josh, what's everyone else doing and what needs done?

at least my take on characters so far (correct me if I am wrong)

Josh - like a sorcerer in PF, high CHA, face-man with spells, kind of a spy\information type, former Sith

Alan - more of a combat spy, special forces, heavily armed\armored

Matt - miniature alien inside a droid body, controls other drones and smaller droids (effectively a drone-rigger, as opposed to a pilot-rigger)

Rob - has decided to sit this one out

Dan - Han Solo\Starlord pilot and combat type

seems pretty well rounded to me.... and no Jedi that will make life interesting and allow you all a bit more freedom of action

as you think about your pirate, consider part of his backstory to include how he stole\found\bought\gambled a cloaking mandalorian gunship. it is the one seen in the Ep1 summary thread, that the party got on Kintan from Mandos that they fought. It has been 300 years, so there must be some story of what has happened to the ship over that time and how it ended up in your hands. have fun with it!
