Emilian just kind of wandered into town one day.. nobody knows where he's from, but he has a wild look like he belongs in a gypsy caravan.
He looks like he's probably human, but maybe some Elvish blood in there somewhere. Who knows?
He's friendly, but seems a bit shifty, as gypsies sometimes are..
He seems like an ok guy, but... in like a 'you wouldn't leave him alone with your daughter or your coin purse on the table' kind of way.
Anyway, he just kind of hangs around town, mostly at the tavern, making racket with his tambourine, doing as little as possible.

Oh yeah, so I guess he doesn't have a 'career' really,"but he can do odd jobs around town- cut wood, short order cook, chimney sweep, bale hay.. you know, whatever anyone will pay him to do.
Maybe he came to town to set up a criminal underground thievery ring or something. Who knows?
He's a classic rogue, he can do whatever to earn his keep, legal or otherwise.
Right now, his favorite job is getting paid to STOP playing his tambourine.
Oh yeah, and if we advance at all, he'll multi-class as a bard probably.

I will give you some alignment impressions of mine that may help you. We seldom play them as they are tricky.
NE pretends to be good but does selfish/evil stuff when no-one is looking. Will turn on the party if he thinks it is in his best interest.
N does his own thing for his own reasons without shame.
CN is wildly out of control ADHD. Has severe difficulty sticking to a plan. Often destructive but doesn't intend any harm.
CE Buck wild raping pillaging sick and unredeeming animal that any decent person would HAVE TO put down.
LE Pursues law in a selfishly interpretation to the exclusion of any altruism or mercy. "Crucify him!"

Wouldn't be much of a game if my guy turned on his allies.
I just want to play someone who can do what he wants without worrying about feeling guilty if it's not legal or 'right'. I think rogues are more fun that way, when they can pick pockets, commit B&E, lie, cheat, swindle and steal for no reason other than they felt like doing it without everyone else whining about ''you're not playing your alignment, wah, wah,''
So basically I don't care, I'll play whatever Alignment you want..
Make it Neutral or whatever then.
I'm honestly just tired of being 'good' all the time.

Heh heh... Neutral with chaotic tendencies... Alignment is a sliding scale, not a series of rigid pinholes. Just keep it in the ballpark.
The examples I gave are severe for sure. Feel free to play a no account sneaky crook with occasionally surprizing redeeming qualities. There just has to be something about him that allows others to team up with him instead of arresting, bannishing, or killing him.
You will be rewarded for simplicity.

My vote is for you to play this guy, but the apothecary would also be fine. Let me know.

I'll play this guy to start. Don't worry, I'll play him nice, I promise. Just because I have no moral scruples doesn't mean I'll be evil or mean, but sometimes you need a guy who can get things done, lol.
He's pretty bright and charismatic, he can probably talk his way out of any issues.
Imagine him as a suave, likable scoundrel, voiced by Antonio Banderas.

As a reward for your simplicity you are human, but with traces of some ancient elven/fey bloodline. You may have 2 favored classes as the 1/2 elf ability. You also have lowlight vision and are lucky. 1 x per day you may re-roll any roll that isn't a fumble.
