Looks good so far.  Puny and charming. Dex should be a 9, yes?

Can I switch to "standard" scores?

sure, standard array or point buy, but then the highest you could get is a 17...

Ok. I did point buy with +2 to cha and the observant feat (+1 Int). As a "sage" I get 2 more languages. What is "common"? Who are the world superpowers and what languages are common in space? (He has been all around on assignment).

Common is "futurized" English. As a future earth setting, you can imagine Cantonese, Japanese, (or even Hindi, Russian, or German) might be important in certain circumstances.

Let's reskin Undercommon as Spacer. An English derivation, Spacer is the language of cosmic traders, miners, and explorers.

Deep Speech is virtually unknown, being the language of cthulhoid aberrations like the Deep Ones.

Primordial is a dead language. Mostly pictographs found on ancient ruins.

Nevermind about Elvish, Dwarven, Gnomish, etc. I might allow Sylvan as the common fey language if the campaign need turn in that direction. I doubt we'll ever get that far.
