Been waiting on Theodras since Wednesday night, so I'll just take my turn...

Chef slices and dices at the burning goblin at L-14... (+2 for Flanking with Ian)

    Attack: 9 + 8 + 2 = 19, hmm not sure if that cuts it, but if so: 6 + 4 = 10 damage

Chef's slice meets armor where the other goblin's had weak-spots. This opponent's armor is of better quality.

    Theo is up.

Ian can go if Bronson is busy. (We've all been there).

Ah... sorry guys. Been traveling out of town.

    Theodras
    HP: 21/30
    AC: 16
    Move: 30

Theo steps over the gutted goblin writhing on the floor. Makes a calculated stab at the armored one near the stairs.

    Attack roll: 19+4=23
    Damage: 8+1=9

Apparently catching him off guard enough to slip a sword through the gaps in his armor.

    cheers

Theodras finds a chink in the armor, but not in a vital organ. The goblin grunts his recognition of the wound and rebounds expertly.

Ian will slide 5ft over (to gain flanking with Tarek, no AoO for 5ft step) and take another swing at the basic mob at J-12 (full PA)

Ian's great sword strikes hard and accurately, but the goblin turns his thick breastplate into the blow and the armor rings like a gong.

Another bomb flies from the steps to Q-15.  9 dmg to Chef and Theodras, reflex 15 for half dmg.  The flash briefly lights the goblin's grinning face in the darkened stair.  He appears to be lightly armored and somewhat tall for a goblin.

Sorry gents. We've got our big fishing festival that we host this weekend, and I am under the gun. After this I'll be off the grid till Tuesday/Wednesday of next week.

    Lumenor Smith
    HP: 24
    AC: 16
    Move: 30

    1 minutes of Produce flame

    RER
    HP: 12
    AC: 16 (+2 familiar bonus)
    Move: 10/ 40 fly

Lumenor moves to M/19 and hurls his last handful of flame at the lightly armored goblin standing at the foot of the stairs.

    ranged touch attack

Result of the throw of dice "1d20" :

    14

    dmg if hits

Result of the throw of dice "1d6 +3" :

    5 + 3 = 8

    produce flame is expended

You can strike an opponent with a melee touch attack, dealing fire damage equal to 1d6 + 1 point per caster level (maximum +5). Alternatively, you can hurl the flames up to 120 feet as a thrown weapon. When doing so, you attack with a ranged touch attack (with no range penalty) and deal the same damage as with the melee attack. No sooner do you hurl the flames than a new set appears in your hand. Each attack you make reduces the remaining duration by 1 minute. If an attack reduces the remaining duration to 0 minutes or less, the spell ends after the attack resolves.

The map doesn't currently show the lightly armored goblin who is still in the steps.

M-14 is a goblin Knight in full plate. Twisted Evil

If Lumenor goes to p-16 or so, he can hit the lightly armored goblin.

Put lumenor at q-16.  His fire hits the hidden goblin.

The armored goblin and goblin Knight retaliate with bone-splitting ferocity!

Tarek, overextended from his thrust, is hit for 7 as the halberd catches the back of his thigh.

The goblin Knight's axe narrowly misses Chef's head as the portly but shifty scullion leans away to take it as a slash across the breast. 9 damage. Shocked

Chef sees that his time may soon be up. Will he buy it in this tower? He is breathing heavy, covered in wounds and burns, and his favorite hat is singed.

He calls upon Cullen to guide his sword and chops at the well-armored goblin next to him.

Perfect Strike! (Basically I have Advantage on my attack roll once/day) and Power Attack.
1st attack roll: 18 + 7 = 25 !!! That threatens a Critical Hit, but according to the text of Perfect Strike, I have to use one of my attack rolls for the confirmation roll.
    2nd: 6 + 7 = 13 Meh.
    If 25 is a hit, then 4 + 6 = 10 damage

    *Perfect Strike- [DM bonus feat]:
When wielding a (monk) weapon, your attacks can be extremely precise.
    Prerequisites: [none, DM fiat]

Benefit: You must declare that you are using this feat before you make your attack roll (thus a failed attack roll ruins the attempt). You must use one of the following weapons to make the attack: kama, nunchaku, quarterstaff, sai, manaii blade, and siangham. You can roll your attack roll twice and take the higher result. If one of these rolls is a critical threat, the other roll is used as your confirmation roll (your choice if they are both critical threats). You may attempt a perfect attack once per day for every four levels you have attained (but see Special), and no more than once per round.

Special: A weapon master monk or zen archer monk receives Perfect Strike as a bonus feat at 1st level, even if he does not meet the prerequisites. A monk may attempt an perfect strike attack a number of times per day equal to his monk level, plus one more time per day for every four levels he has in classes other than monk.

Alan, a question about the last part: since Chef happens to be a Weapon Master archetype for Fighter, but not Monk, could he also get the ability to use it more than once a day?

I will have to read up on this; I'm guessing it is probably fine, but let me get back to you.

Chef's trust curve blade finds a place for a clever fillet under the armor. The Goblin Knight jerks in pain, but rebounds.

    full PA +2 flanking

    Lumenor is up. He delays.

The goblin in the stairs turns and goes back up. The goblin Knight makes a tactical retreat back up the steps, batting away any pursuing attacks.

    22 Tarek
    19 Lumenor
    17 Armored Goblins
    16 ??
    15 Theo
    14 Chef
    8 Ian
    3 ??

Theodras is up. The room is uncontested.

Tactical retreat is not the official term. study

    Withdraw
Withdrawing from melee combat is a full-round action. When you withdraw, you can move up to double your speed. The square you start out in is not considered threatened by any opponent you can see, and therefore visible enemies do not get attacks of opportunity against you when you move from that square.

    Nobody appears to get AoO

    Brave Sir Goblin ran away
    Bravely ran away away
When danger reared its ugly head
He bravely turned his tail and fled
Yes, brave Sir Goblin turned about
    And gallantly he chickened out

    Bravely taking to his feet
He beat a very brave retreat
Bravest of the brave, Sir Goblin!

    **table talk**

Ian's still at full health, he can lead the charge up the stairs.

Ian can heal others too, but if we keep getting bombs dropped on us, the AOE damage will negate any healing.  Healing 1 other is a standard action, so 1 gets healed and 2-3 get bombed.  If anyone has scrolls or healing pots, now would be a good time to use them too.  Otherwise, I suggest delaying until after Ian so he can suck up any damage\traps on the stairs, then the rest can follow.

I am not sure Lumi can actually heal, it doesn't look like he has any Cure spells memorized today. He could grant Ian Fury Twisted Evil for the charge

Theo is up, then Chef, then Ian

so delaying for Theo and Chef, just changes the order of the party, it wouldn't let any other enemies act before our block of 3

    Ian, Theo, Chef

    other thoughts?

unless Theo objects, Ian will go......

Ian looks about the faces of his companions.  They are resolute, but weary and injured.  "Maybe we should back off?"  Ian thinks to himself, "They have the high ground and going up those stairs is a certain death sentence.  My friends are all hurt.  We could back down and rest.  Or maybe that rat-looking fellow would go first?  Or the fire guy?"

Ian begins to step away, but remembers his vow to Paelor.  Ian looks at the blood covered hilt of his sword with the image of the Sun God.

He prays quietly at first, his voice and resolve building as he speaks,

    "Dear Paelor, give me courage,
for perhaps I lack it more than anything else.

I need courage before my friends against the threats of our enemies.

I need courage to fight against these devils,
    against terrors and troubles, temptations,
    attractions, darkness and false lights,
against tears, depression, and above all fear.

I need Your help, dear Paelor.

Strengthen me with Your love and Your grace and Your Light.
    "

By the end of the prayer he is charging up the stairs, bellowing at full volume

*I am not sure how much movement it will take or what he will see at the top of the stairs.  If Ian can move once and attack\overun, he will do that or just double move or ? depending on the stairs and unknown placements on the next map*

Silly party! Lumenor doesn't heal, HE BURNS!!!!

Seriously though, no healing spells. He does have the skill though.

Lumenor will smack Ian with his torch as he runs past - granting him the hex of Fury!

Fury (Su): A shaman incites a creature within 30 feet into a primal fury. The target receives a +2 morale bonus on attack rolls and a +2 resistance bonus on saving throws against fear for a number of rounds equal to the shaman's Wisdom modifier. At 8th and 16th levels, these bonuses increase by 1. Once a creature has benefited from the fury hex, it cannot benefit from it again for 24 hours.

Oh, I was waiting for the map... I will clean up the initiative later.

Ian charges up the steps with the party in tow. They plow into an empty room, save 1 thing. A giant (medium) contraption like a child's Top stands alone. It's pilot pulls a lever and BANG! The top springs to life; spinning blades and menacing spikes threaten all directions. Twisted Evil

    Ian is up.

Ian will attack, using Trip (without the feat). Essentially, Ian just wants to attack the very bottom point, where it spins on the ground, just enough to topple it, or at least send it careening out of control.

    Top gets an AoO

Ian's Trip attack vs CMD (same size)
Result of the throw of dice "1d20 +6" :

    10 + 6 = 16

I'm gonna be off the grid until next Monday evening or so, spinning tunes for a bunch of trancers in the woods.

On his turn, Chef will follow Ian (and presumably Theo) up the steps. He will attack the top (unless the goblin knight shows up, then he will be the target) with his sword. He will try to get flanking with Ian or another friendly.

    Attack: 8 + 8 = 16 (18 if Flanking)
    If that's a hit, 9 + 3 = 12 damage
