    Ghost shoots the drone next to him at L-11. He is adjacent to his opponent, so he's at Disadvantage.

    1st attack) 12,20... 12 + 11 = 23; hit) 5 + 6 = 11P.

    2nd attack) 16,9... 9 + 11 = 20; hit) 1 + 6 = 7P.


    Is the thing destroyed? If it is destroyed, Ghost will use his move action to go to N-8. I think he can make it, despite difficult terrain of the foam, but the walls are hard to see behind the icons.

    Ghost blows another drone out of the sky.  The drones and their less-than-lethal defense are not posing much of an obstacle so far.....

    Ghost can get to N-8 by a couple paths, no worries

    The 1 remaning drones tries to spray Mime but misses, foaming the ground next to him.

    at 5, 4 automated Cannon robots unfold on the tops of some of the taller buildings.  They were disguised as mechanical sheds, heating units, hvac systems, etc.

    each takes aim at 1 party member with some kind of electrified net fired from their side guns, they are using a crossfire, to maximize targets

    Mime - misses due to displacement
    Ghost - hit with electro-web.  immobilized (str check or you can attack the net)

    cion - hit with elctro-web, immobilized (str check or you can attack the net)

    Can Ghost use Athletics? Or if it's just raw Strength check, can he also add his proficiency bonus? He is proficient in STR and CON saves.

    that's a good question and one maybe you can help me with?

    It's just an attribute check. do you get a prof bonus for a generic attribute check?

    the attack roll, clearly you would get the prof bonus.

    Mime shifts over and blasts the last flying drone out of the sky.  He fires at one of the Cannon bots, but just misses.

    they are not flying, they are on top of the buildings, so either 20 or 30ft up

    the tokens kind of covered up the elevations, the 2 at the top of the map are 20ft up, the 2 on the bottom of the map are 30ft up

    the buildings are rough stone, the cannon bots are Huge sized and 10+ft tall (easy LOS), the net can be broken or hacked (see above)

    Ghost can target the canon-drone sitting on the building at N-3? He uses Action Surge to make two attacks against it with his SMG.

    Takes a 5 foot step to M-8.

    Ghost casually flings off the electro-web net, shifts his stance and rips into the large cannon bot on top of the builidng at N-3. Ghost's burst finds its mark, but its not enough to drop the big robot.

    "Argh... keep this junk off me!  Now the broadcast signal is coming from farther North"  the party notices the new signal is right in the crossfire of the 4 cannon bots.  Cion charges blindly ahead with work, Menkaure follows.


    There are no more drones - good job!

    The 4 cannon bots open fire with their main guns, sickly green energy beams rain down on the party.

    P12 fires at Mime with disadvantage.... and misses again, dang displacemenet

    the party can hear the rotor sounds getting louder and louder.... finally they see the source - the BLUE BOLT!  A helicopter gunship appears on the edge of the map.  It is 50ft up in the air and moving FAST (fly 80ft).  Not the party can really see, but it is piloted by Goggles that escaped the last map.

    Mime's fingers and guns fly at super-human speeds.  He rips through the first cannon bot with 2 shots, finishes the wounded one and puts a hurting on a 3rd!  cheers

    Menkaure meltss the C-10 cannon to slag.

    study I am not sure you can ready a bonus action, but I'll allow it for now. just keep in mind that it is currently 50ft up in the air, so it will need to descend and get closer to be in range of the Misty Step study

    "the signal is strongest over here...."  Cion moves 10ft north as he closes in on the broadcast tower.

    at 5, the last Cannon fires at Mime but misses again....  Mad


    at 3, the BLUE BOLT moves into firing position at ~N-9 (using about 60\80 ft movement)  Goggles lowers the Blue Bolt to 30ft elevation to get a better LoS on the party.   The party can see some kind of electro-magnetic rail gun under the cockpit.  



    The gun seems to follow Goggles' head movements, as if targeting where he looks.  Goggles unleashes his EMRG that fires a 5ft wide line that is 60ft long of electric destruction!



    Mime, Menkaure and Cion are caught in the blast!  Each needs to make a Dex save DC 16

    electric damage

    half on a successful save (29 electric)

    Cion, thanks to Menkaure's aura, makes his save, but his down to 6 health, ouch

    Acrobatics. Your Dexterity (Acrobatics) check covers
    your attempt to stay on your feet in a tricky situation,
    such as when you’re trying to run across a sheet o f ice,
    balance on a tightrope, or stay upright on a rocking
    ship’s deck.


    This sounds like an Acrobatics check to me or Dex (no prof) if you don't have Acro. Landing on and then swinging a greatsword on the tail of a flying helicopter is both a tightrope and a rocking ship's deck at the same time.

    Indeed! Menkaure doesn't fall off the tail of the helicopter and it was even high enough that his attack rolls are not at Disadvantage. The big cat whacks away at the helicopter with his sword.

    Mime's trusty sniper rifle has a range of 100' and his barrel is about 8' off the ground. The blue bolt is just out of range. Mime locks in, tracing his target. He will fire if the chopper gets just within range... How good of a pilot must goggles be to hover perfectly out of range? It is only a matter of time and distraction. Mime cycles through the math in his head like a shark circling a leaky raft full of bleeding sailors...
