    What kind of capability seems to be lacking in the party?

    Im thinking a healer/buffer type.............

    Wandering "priest/exorcist/fighter against evil" concept....almost like a "call of cthulu" character vibe


    Inquisiter/Cleric maybe?

    Maybe even the "shaman" class with a more western priest/exorcist theme (angels and devils instead of animal spirits and such. Same mechanics with a different flavor.

    common sense, reason, the ability to stay alive




    Marshal Sparx (lawman) = grappled by Bosshog, who humilated him into crapping his pants and crying (read the text)
    T Claiborne (scoundrel) = nearly dead
    Alans crazy french guy?? = dead and a ghost (and still crazy)


    A buffer would be great, but there is really no 'healing' in Radiance. nothing heals Vitality. healing wounds is easy, but it's the running out of vitality that doesn't have much of a remedy besides stopping the adventure to rest, bang a whore (yes really, though i usually fall asleep directly afterwards), etc. strange mechanic.....

    There's a lot going on... Chris is correct, the party could use some major help during the present encounter. I say, run with Jack Stone if you wish. MageBlades have some nice combat magic. Haven't gotten to see how pathfinder class rolls either.


    Yes, healing is tough and combat can be gritty. I think for the reboot/sequel, will be adding a house-rule that characters regain full Vitality after 6 hour rest. Wound points heal 1/day after 6 hour rest.

    Just an FYI... assuming Tommy dies (which is rather likely) I'm going after a Pathfinder next since that's what I originally wanted to play.

    Matt will get this: think of him as an ancestor of the Winchester boys from Supernatural.
