Getting Started...

I've never run it before, and only played it a couple times in grade school, so I thought it might be fun learn it on the forum. Recently I picked up the Car Wars Deluxe set, which is a re-release of the 80's black case version. So it's not the newest edition, but should be suitable.

Are you going to use the actual GURPS rules from the 80s or convert to 5e\PF?

Link in the OP is for the deluxe version. There's no conversion and no role-playing. It's a board game.

We can build some vehicles for a time and post them.  Then the race is on!
