I think it is all 1 hit, so it halves all of it.

for UD - it is 'an attack', Sam can see it, part of the damage is B and part is F, but it is all part of the same attack action

sorry, this is PF\3.x thinking.  Move is not any type of action in 5e.  it is simply a speed that the character can travel in a round

Sal sings gently to himself, as he paces around in a circle scratching at the floor, "Don't I know you... I waltzed with you once upon a (yawn)...."  zzzzzzz

If anyone is able to contact Alan directly, he has been sending messages about being locked out of the forum - and not responding to the information we give him to get back in, on several platforms (email, FB, etc). The messages are all cut/paste similar. Feels like he got hacked. If someone can contact him to confirm what is going on, it would be helpful. I will continue trying to work the issue as well.

searching the corpses reveals 2 sets of keys on iron rings, one held by Firetail and Sal each.  Perhaps there are other rooms?

it is a blasted land, scorched from constant heat and meteors.  Crispy suspects that a person couldn't even survive there without resistance to fire as their skin would be seared off their bones within seconds.

Crispy sees an army standing in formation,  waiting for their marching orders.  There are phalanxes of Azers, disorganized salamander skirmishers and legions of fire giants behind them.  There are fire elementals of all sizes scattered throughout the ranks, passing harmlessly through the assembled ranks.

At the head, a massive beast made of magma paces back and forth like a caged tiger ready to pounce through the rift if it ever opens again

Sam easily spots a magical trap on one of the doors but he is sure there not a trap on the other door. it looks like it would explode with some kind of water or ice -based spell, so perhaps it is designed to keep other fire denizens out?
