    Lift the beast as high as he can with the Force, then drop him on Trando, trying to cause falling damage to both.

    Sharn can feel the massive tuskbeast in his force grip but just as he begins to lift the creature, a flash of the ghost of Marcus Ragnar appears in his mind. The haunted spirit smiles at the realization that Sharn is a Force user and a dark sliding one at that.

    what are you firing?  I thought it was your rotary.... which should be 3d8, but I can't tell what dice\bonus you are rollling

    The Trando is WOUNDED, -2 to str\dex, no run\charge and takes another hit from the 3rd shot.


    The Nikto Seer mutters, "varshnach, Geedi!" and takes a 2m step away from Daxx.  He raises his staff in the air and stretches out his other hand towards Daxx.  A pale green aura forms around the Seer and reaches out to Daxx.  Daxx can feel something being drained away from him.....

    The Tuskbeast's strength would be considerable on it's own as a Huge sized beast, plus +4 strength (+2 Will save) since it has Wraith archtype from being possessed by a Sith Ghost..... there are other Sith-possessed traits too, but you haven't discovered those yet, some beneficial.... some detrimental to the Ghost  study 

    A lightsaber, though a medium wpn, CAN be used with wpn finesse, so I would definitely allow Daxx to swing it 1 handed while grappled, though a fumble would certainly hit Daxx in that case.

    So, after re-reading the last page of this thread, looks like I'd forgotten to calculate damage for flying debris. With a failed reflex save, the additional 6 points of damage put Sharn at -2.

    Congrats DM, you've eliminated my character by the 2nd round!

    Oh, I forgot to mention, the Force Whirlwind ended when Daxx killed the Nikto Seer.

    affraid Sorry Rob, it is the big boss fight, he hits hard.   Sharn isn't dead you know, he is just at -2 and dying.  He will bleed out for -1\rd until either he stabilizes (fort check each round), gets healed or reaches -10 when he is actually dead.

    Too bad you didn't activate your 20 point force field on your turn.  Or your Invisibility field.   Crying or Very sad

    Sharn's turn passes at 5.  But before the round ends.....  

    From the darkness of his unconscious state, Sharn thinks he can hear Thana speaking to him Shyriiwook , but somehow he knows that can't be true.  Sharn wonders if he is dead and is hearing the voice of a Wookie Valkyrie come to bear him to ancestors at last.  Sharn can see the Halls of Heroes, that the skalds describe, filled with the mighty Wookies of his clan.  Sharn feels welcome amongst his brothers.   Suddenly the vision falls away into the mists.  Sharn feels a giant hand reach into the afterlife and pull him back to this world.  

    Sharn's senses begin to return to him.... in the distance he can hear the sound of Rakhu's whirling rotary cannon, Daxx's lightsaber humming and the terrible sounds of the great tuskbeast chewing on his Jedi friend.

    Sharn is healed 4 wound points to 2.

    PF says about "Grappled"

    Grappled: A grappled creature is restrained by a creature, trap, or effect. Grappled creatures cannot move and take a –4 penalty to Dexterity. A grappled creature takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls and combat maneuver checks, except those made to grapple or escape a grapple. In addition, grappled creatures can take no action that requires two hands to perform. A grappled character who attempts to cast a spell or use a spell-like ability must make a concentration check (DC 10 + grappler's CMB + spell level), or lose the spell. Grappled creatures cannot make attacks of opportunity.

    A grappled creature cannot use Stealth to hide from the creature grappling it, even if a special ability, such as hide in plain sight, would normally allow it to do so. If a grappled creature becomes invisible, through a spell or other ability, it gains a +2 circumstance bonus on its CMD to avoid being grappled, but receives no other benefit
    .

    While it says you cannot move, it doesn't say anything about taking a full round action. Apply the listed penalties -2 attack and -4 dex (which affects wpn finesse), so -4 total to attack rolls, and go for it.

    I have to disagree on one point... the -4 to Dex I think is only supposed affect things like AC (Defense in our case)... I think the -2 to attack is the only penalty I suffer... the movement thing makes complete sense.

    I think if the intention was to penalize DC, they would have just said that.  It is only a double penalty if you use a Dex based attack, but that is your choice knowing that Dex is reduced as well as BAB.

    I hope it's not TPK.... but sometimes the baddies win (they get paid too)

    Daxx can use his lightsaber, escape, force lightning, force strike..... many options

     study The Force energy network, circuited through the crystals, as seen via See Force, had larger conduits all leading back to a central area.  No one has attempted See Force again, but it shouldn't take much of a guess as to where the hub lies.....

    We have discussed since day 1 that using force lightning and force strike do NOT give dark side points. That was in the house rules on the force and you even commented once that you liked that interpretation\use of the rules. Both Force Lightning and Force Strike can be used untrained.

    "Daxx Tay-Nari, Jedi (sort of)" has been a short tempered rager, who doesn't like the Jedi way, the Jedi, wearing robes or following their rules.... nope, doesn't fit at all  Rolling Eyes 

    grapple can be escaped with skill as well as brute strength

    but no worries, play your character as you like to

I know you made changes, I just don't agree with them on that point. I never agreed with allowing them to be used against the living w/o incurring a darkside point.
