Rogan cannot target you.  AoO doesn't work until you try to leave his reach, not just when you move within his threat zone (different from PF\3.x) and there is a 40ft mast blocking his attack.  dagnabbit  


Ok, a bit of a retcon then is in order here, my apologies.   Sam does manage to duck away from Rogan as well as the Worg and pirate via disengage.

Sam makes it to G-9 as intended and torches the Witch for 29 fire damage!  She burns up in a puff of smoke as she only had 20 hp left.

But Renda uses Disengage, so he doesn't provoke attacks of opportunity on the way in to reach Rogan

Renda had to get adjacent to Rogan to make his bite attacks.  Renda then attempts to leave Rogan's threat zone while still enjoying Disengage.  Rogan did not use his Reaction against Josh, since Sam was blocked by the Mast, so he still has a Reaction available.  Just like the scenario with Sam, Rogan has the Sentinel feat.

Chris, that was Sjon's entire turn unless he couldn't finish his movement, in which case he would use his action to dash in order to complete his entire movement

Edit: in case it needs to be specifically mentioned, the bunny will heal all of the party and none of the enemies. This will be the standard use of the spell.

Edit2 to the party: pass through the bunny's space to receive a small font of healing. This can be done every turn until the spell ends.

Since it's still Rogan's turn.....

Rogan sways slightly as he stands in disbelief of his pending defeat.  He had the Kraken blade partially raised, as if going for his own throat.  He catches his own reflection in the mysterious dagger.  



He is consumed by his memories as his life's choices replay like shadows from a fire dancing on the wall of a cave.



The rest of the party all just happened to be looking at Rogan at that exact moment.  You can each see Rogan raising the Kraken blade towards his own throat just as Renda STUNS him.  The blade flashes briefly.  Could it be moonlight?  The moon is known by sailors to have strange powers.  Could it be some other magic at work? Could it be the hand of the Gods?  The party isn't sure.  You don't know why you are meant to see this, but you feel that it is important, somehow.

The party bears ghost-like witness to Rogan's life as he watches it......

You are standing on a beach.  The wind blows fiercely from offshore.



You see a much-younger Rogan staring into the wind, defiant of the elements.



He is dressed more like a viking than a pirate.  You can see many clans of orc raiders encamped behind him on the beach, as if waiting



an Orc Shaman is attempting to appease their Gods with the sacrifice of many beasts



The winds continue to blow against Rogan.




The shaman tells Rogan that he must make a greater sacrifice to pay for good winds, if he wishes to sack the Dwarven Fortress-City of Frostheim.  


Rogan calls for his only child Ragash, his son and heir, to be brought forth



Rogan leads his son up to the rocky cliffs overlooking their camp and the ocean.  The wind blows in their faces.



Rogan unsheathes the Kraken dagger, given to him by his father to make sacrifice to Verex, God of Plunder and the Seas. (thanks for the idea Matt!)



Rogans opens Ragash's throat with the Kraken blade.  His young blood turns the foam below red.  Rogan can hear cheers rise up from the beach.  The winds fall instantly quiet and the waves are still.



Rogan and his armada sail to the Dwarven Fortress-City of Frostheim



Frostheim is home of the Dwarf King Dondren.  The party sees an immediate resemblance to their departed Captain Gundren in the old King's face.




After a long and bloody seige, Frostheim finally falls to Rogan's raiders.  With his last breath, the old King Dondren curses Rogan and his raiders, "As long as sons of Frostheim sail freely, you shall wander the seas forever."  

The waves swallow Rogan's remaining armada before they can return home with their plunder.  The wealth of Frostheim was indeed a great sacrifice to the Dwarven God of the Sea Oreideon.  

Rogan's ship alone survived.  He became consumed with killing every dwarf he encountered at sea.  Gundren's death has led the party to Rogan.  His fate is now in your hands......

In a flash, the party's consciousness returns to the present moment. You are all back on Rogan's cog. He is stunned, staring into the Kraken blade as if memorized.

I love the way Hawkes is taking charge, lets roll with that!

Hawkes runs his blade through Rogan. Though stunned, Rogan manages a faint smile of relief. Hawkes catches a glimpse of rocky cliffs and sandy beaches in Rogan's eyes as they go dim. Rogan's body crumbles to dust. Hawkes wonders just how old he was.....

Lets go ahead and stay in a loose combat turn for now. Everyone gets 1 turn and then the Krakken clock ticks down. You have a very short time to escape.

@Alan - lets roll with Hawkes taking charge. Direct the crew specifically what to do, including what dice rolls to make and what roles to take on the ship.

Regardless of where we were in initiative, everyone now has 1 turn, under Hawkes command to work as a crew. That still means 1 move, 1 action, etc


Unfeathers flies up to the crow's nest, "<sqwak> Rogan is dead! Long live Captain Hawkes! <sqwak>"

I'm not sure what skill Sam would use to obey those orders?

Otherwise Sam will move to wherever the Main sail is for now and wait for a GM ruling
