    "Arrod, stay safe, my friend."   Arrod will move and Dash 80ft off the map to the south, after Zax takes his turn.

    Warhol and Marvin see Zax fade away into shadow.  He reappears dismounted next to the giant at G-7 with Shatterspike held high overhead.  He still looks like a translucent shade.

    Bonus action - Blessing of the Raven Queen. As a bonus action, you can magically teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see. You can use this trait a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
    Starting at 3rd level, you also gain resistance to all damage when you teleport using this trait. The resistance lasts until the start of your next turn. During that time, you appear ghostly and translucent.

    another giant appears at the entrance to the defile but it's movement is slowed, it can't target anyone due to LoS and it takes damage from the Spike Growth. It did not make it's Wisdom save to see the terrain/spikes

    ok, two more arrows thunk into the advancing giant.

    Well, hill giants ain't real sharp.... so the one that is visible keeps advancing on Gor'Zax while taking damage from the Spike Stones

    The hawk does not see anything. No giants for miles around.  However, a dust cloud is growing to the west and headed your way.  It's entering one of the few forests so the hawk can't quite see what it is.

    The giant is singed... and is still bellowing and screaming regardless.

    now 'Zax goes and inflicts another fine hit.
