    and before I forget, Ivar looks over the vehicle as well to see just how much steel is left (with an eye towards making himself some breast plate armor)


    The size, shape and weight look about right.... for a really big bear.  Ivar tries to determine direction but the heavy rains from last night have washed out much of the road.  He finds another track, similar size and estimated weight by the depth in the mud, but a different shape. The first track is beside the truck. The second track is in front of the truck, about 20 feet apart.

    study don't mind the change in truck appearance, the AI image generator can only do so much.  the muddy road, canyon and footprint are correct though.  truck looks like it does in the other pics - old 1/2 military style

    hey all,

    Small gravel cascades down the steep canyon walls.  You look up, shielding your eyes from the sun.  A dark silhouette looks down menacingly.  You can see two heads, a long spiked tail and membranous wings.

    study Ivar would have to Ready an Action and state a condition, it doesn't just happen automatically,

    study Ok, assuming Ivar draws his axe for free when he moves, he can use his Action to Ready an attack if the creature enters his Reach.

    The two-headed monstrosity lets out a sound somewhere between a lion's roar and a hawk's screech.  It leaps off the mesa and dives down at high speed towards Ivar.  A nasty looking stinger on its tail glistens in the afternoon sun as it hangs down ready to piece its prey!


    study The monster has a 10ft reach with its tail, so it never enters Ivar threat radius.  However, it does meet the requirement of Tessie's Readied Action as it is going to attack Ivar.


    Tessie can make his attack, then it will try to sting Ivar and then the rest of its turn as it can still move and attack again  Twisted Evil

    study  you know.... that doesn't make a ton of sense to me.... so scratch that.  Ivar can swing at the monster's tail.  He can't hit any other part, but he is waiting for the beast and it puts part of its body in reach.

    cheers nice hit!  but I think you forgot to add your +2 rage damage, so its really 18 Twisted Evil

    Ivar takes a chunk out of the creature's tail but not enough to severe it before it can whip the stinger at Ivar's chest

    Stinger. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 10 ft., one creature. Hit: (2d6 + 4) piercing damage plus (7d6)poison damage.

    10 + 7 = 17

    The creature moves forward with determination (at half 80ft speed) Against the Wind, he was running against the wind, he was young and strong, but he was still running against the wind.

    It makes it to G-8 which puts it at 10ft reach from Tessie only.

    Tessie may fire when ready, then it will use its reach to attack him with benefits of 1/2 cover

    study I debated whether it would smart enough to move out of the line of wind, as it is literally only blowing on him 10ft, but it has a low intelligence, so I figured it would use its strength to push forward in the first response, then I will give it INT checks, which it will likely fail, to see if it can figure out to move out the wind tunnel
