Shivak tries to compel the spores\vines, which is a great idea, but they are not sentient and do not respond.
The spores react to a specific couple of counter-effects. I will give you a hint: each character is capable of at least 1 very mundane (no spells\powers etc) method of neutralization, some have multiple options

Tarro - orbital guns are on separate asteroids and have independent power supplies, as shown back in "Welcome to Nowhere" (which seems like a year ago, lol)

SDX - here is a rough idea of the path by foot. Remember, the main section of Port Nowhere, like most of the other sections, is a retrofitted starship merged into an asteroid. The main section was a capital class ship. You guys are deep in the asteroid at the reactor. You would have to travel back up to the main part of the ship (where the cantina and docking bays are) and then make your way up to the C&C tower. It would be a long walk, but perhaps you can figure out another option

The wisps react to the harmonic, almost hymnal, chanting that represents Celestial. They pulse and oscillate their luminescent lights in a definite pattern. SDX is able to determine that they are understanding his request and responding as best as they are able.

I'm afraid that getting the angels involved may prove to be too complex. We may be able to attract them with the correct use of language and light color, but how to tell them which is friend and which is foe?
I can "teleport" us again with another summoner's surge. We probably want to get up there asap.

Ok, Telepathy is a single thought only, so I think "Help!" would convey the same intent as your stated message. DC for Telepathy is based on distance, with a 27, SHivak can contact a being in the same quadrant\region of space.... nice roll!
again, this will be in a later "out of combat" round (really only ~10 seconds later)

Rob emailed me last night and told me that he is dropping out of SW at least for the time being. If I recall, he works in retail and his schedule is crazy over the holidays. I will run Sharn as a support-heal bot.... unless someone else wants that job?
Sharn uses a blade to scrape the spores\vines off his body. (rd3)
SDX - you can use your rd 2 action to physically remove them from yourself, if you have a blade or some kind of tool. Or ask someone else to do the job, like maybe Tarro

Dockmaster: "Most of the cameras have been destroyed in the fighting, but there is a small work station that appears intact and clear of Eldrazi . Jakarro and his few remaining men have built a barricade near the turbo lift to the command tower, but they are being overrun. Hurry!"
Shivak receives a telepathic reply from the red wisp that had been eyeing Tarro. Shivak cannot understand the words, but he recognizes the hymnal chanting from when they spoke to SDX. Shivak feels a sense of peace.

Sorry, Heal Self can only be used once per hour for HP (vitality) or once per day for Ability.
If you follow the thread, there have been 3 total "out of combat" rounds that have passed + 1 "buff" round at the end of which you will zone into the new map and roll initiative.
So it will be 4 total rounds by the start of the next combat. There are a lot of effects that will need to be checked, I will try to track current duration for each at the start of combat or you can calculate to see if something needs refreshed.

I am going to run Sharn as a support\heal bot for the party, unless someone else wants to do it
