Marvin, the trail just seems to continue for several dozen feet, beyond how far you can see for now.
There are some smaller rocks that you could, in theory, attach a rope to but that will require a skill check of some kind or a base Dex check

If we anchor the ropes with my tools, tie knots with survival or SoH and then use athletics plus a rope for balance.... would that give us Advantage on the check?
Essentially its like the idea of the Help action - the rope Helps the athletics?

after another 20' you see two statues up ahead at the sides of the tunnel. It is about 8' across at this point.
The statues look very demonic but are also rather worn down by age and possible damage from long ago (in other words, they aren't quite this pristine)
the symbol you have seen before is on the base of each statue, they are both roughly 10' tall.
Marvin can see the tunnel continues for as far as he can see.
