Honestly, speaking as the most-frequent GM, it is required on the forum.
The narrative about Vellum was given on July 22, nearly 5 full months ago. I try to be a good player but I had totally forgotten the mission beyond "kill the mindflayers" and had no clue what "box" Josh was even talking about.
Just for my sake, are the mission parameters as follows?
rescue Vellum (this dwarf next to Kruhl)
find the artifact box
kill mindflayers
return Vellum and box to PG
anything else?

The chest is in possession of Proctor Gamble, although he has been unsuccessful in opening it. The party even had a chance to inspect it.

The dwarf looks down at the bottom of the stairway, his eyes glassed over with grey pupils. A stark difference from the twinkling light that can usually be found in the eyes of his people. He opts to climb down the open side of the stairs and makes his way towards the opening he has created at the back of the room as he begins to chant in a low tone.
The echoing howls from the southeastern tunnels seem to grow louder.
Kruhl has the option to take an attack of opportunity if he wishes. After that decision has been made, Crispy may act.

War Caster allows Kruhl to use a single target spell in lieu of a melee attack.

Kruhl wants to stop whatever madness the dwarf is trying to call down upon us. He reaches out instinctively to grab the dwarf as he flees. Kruhl doesn't really want to hurt the mentally-enslaved Magister, but his malice gets the better of him

Very interesting questions and I really don't know how warlocks work particularly well, so I will parse them separately and allow you to persuade me with a logical argument if you think I am misinterpreting the rules.
Agonizing Blast
When you cast eldritch blast, add your Charisma modifier to the damage it deals on a hit.
To me, this reads that if you have chosen agonizing blast as an invocation, the damage is added to eldritch blast as a matter of fact. It is passive rather than optional. Let me know if you can dig up anything official that indicates otherwise.
In regards to doing less damage by choice, I can't seem to find anything in the rules to support that either. The only related rule looks to be the following:
Knocking a Creature Out
Sometimes an attacker wants to incapacitate a foe, rather than deal a killing blow. When the attacker reduces a creature to 0 hit points with a melee attack, the attacker can knock the creature out. The attacker can make this choice the instant the damage is dealt. The creature falls unconscious and is stable.
So that seems pretty clear that the decision point is when a creature would hit 0 HP from a melee attack.
In regards to the last question about repelling blast, the invocation reads as follows:

When you hit a creature with eldritch blast, you can push the creature up to 10 feet away from you in a straight line.
I think this bolsters my ruling above on agonizing blast, as in this instance the operative word "can" has been purposefully used.
Neat little deep dive into a few rules and how it is intended to weave them together. Having said all that, what you are asking for does not break the game or attempt to take advantage of a rules loophole, so let's make it interesting. CHA is the warlock's casting ability modifier, but let's see if you have the mental acuity to hold back on the power of your evocation. d20 + INT modifier please.

When the purple and green rays connect with Kruhl, his mind begins to blur as if he has had one too many drinks. Processing the action in the room is difficult and everything seems to speed up. He feels unable to act quickly enough to respond. His fleetness of foot and mind return at the same instant that he feels himself being lifted off the ground. Up, up, and away. The party can see Kruhl hovering 20' in the air and moving closer to Sam. When the creature disappears into the opening and breaks line of sight, Kruhl drops suddenly to the ground taking 8 damage from the fall.
Abagail continues moving forward as swiftly as possible, finding herself against a fallen slab of stone that was dislodged from the ceiling.

Oh, that is awesome. Hawkes hears the screams and howls of an untold number of approaching enemies. He hustles 20' ahead, enough to get within range of the tunnels behind them. He claps his hands together, causing a sudden burst of ringing sound. The previously damaged sections wall and tunnels further give way as their structural integrity fail, leaving behind a collapsed entrance. Hawkes is satisfied with the result as intended. He also has movement remaining if he would like.

We, the players, cant see the floater retreating into the mouth of the opening, but sam can. It's just past where the map cuts off, so you can go ahead and consider it in the next square past the map cutoff.

I have to guess at character speeds unless they are included in statblocks. Correct me if I get them wrong. Also, it would be helpful if everyone would specifically state where their desired ending position during movement.
Hawkes collapses the tunnels in and moves his remaining 10' back toward his original position. Sam advances towards the opening at the north end of the room. He skirts past the dwarf to get an unimpeded view of the floater before letting fly with his firebolt. The smell of damp air and slight decay fills his senses, distracting him enough to completely miss his target.
Renda charges up the stairs towards the platform. He must be able to sense there is something going on behind it, although he cannot see. He prepares to retaliate against any foe that crosses his path.

Kruhl closes the distance. The first blow comes down atop the left shoulder of the dwarf with expert precision and the following swing across the jawline hits the sleep button on his target. The dwarf collapses unconscious onto the ground as his tattered robes begin to soak up the small bit of bleeding coming from the shoulder.
Nicely done. The room seems to have been cleared of imminent danger, with the remaining floater fleeing. It is in the grid square 10' plan north of Sam.

Seeking Arrow. Using divination magic, you grant your arrow the ability to seek out your target, allowing the arrow to curve and twist its path in search of its prey. When you use this option, you don’t make an attack roll for the attack. Instead, choose one creature you have seen in the past minute. The arrow flies toward that creature, moving around corners if necessary and ignoring three-quarters cover and half cover. If the target is within the weapon’s range and there is a path large enough for the arrow to travel to the target, the target must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, it takes damage as if it were hit by the arrow, plus an extra 1d6 force damage, and you learn the target’s current location. On a successful save, the target takes half as much damage, and you don’t learn its location.
