Wish me luck, fellas. I will learn how to use powerpoint to create icons and layer them on top of gridded backgrounds, but for this encounter can I recruit someone to manage the graphics? @Chris, If you would email me the PP and tokens you have thus far, it would go a long way in goving me a starting point to learn by doing in my free time, which is limited. We have Kruhl, who is looking like a hobbled target in his tattered and stained rags. Sam, who is concealed under the heavy foliage of a low-limbed tree. Hawkes, who is tucked into the corner of a building with his weapon at the ready. Renda, who is hungry and hiding in dem bushes, Crispy who has taken a defensive position nestled between two buildings, and Abbey is in a prime sniping position from the rooftop.
Abbey, from your vantage point you see something in the distance. Far ahead, at the convergence of the two roads directly to the north on the top map, you see 2 creatures meet, having each come from a separate road.
They notice Kruhl as he his shuffling around and has them fooled he is no threat. Their eyes glow with a pulsing deep purple. 3 pulses...pause...3 pulses. A third one comes from another roadway and joins the pair. They all turn to face east and send out their pulses again.
Let's everyone roll initiative, yes?

I was under the impression we were already "hidden" as part of getting into position. Does this mean that everyone who has stated they are hiding/being stealthy needs to roll?

Great question. You are hidden, but AFAIK, I need a stealth roll vs an enemy's PP to see if they notice you. I'm giving Rob a consideration for being on a rooftop and Crispy is out of LOS.
Sam is chilling with a really nice stealth roll and Hawkes is confidant that he has not been noticed yet.
Two of the creatures hover just as fast as they can towards the bait. The third floating tentacled eyemass puses again with the familiar purple glow. 3 pulses, pause, 3 pulses.
Hawkes is up, Crispy on deck.
